Turn the proposal into a responsibility map
MetaTrader 5 is a distributed platform with integration APIs and configurable operating roles. That makes it especially important to identify which parts your team can administer, which are provider-controlled and which require a separate vendor. The existence of a platform capability does not prove that your particular arrangement includes it.
| Area | White label evaluation | Independent operation evaluation |
|---|---|---|
| Platform rights | Which entity provides the arrangement and which activities are permitted? | Which rights are held and what additional approvals or dependencies apply? |
| Configuration | Which groups, instruments, roles and changes are available? | Who configures, reviews and maintains those settings? |
| Topology | Which components and regions are supplied or shared? | Who designs, runs and restores the proposed components? |
| Interfaces | Which documented interfaces and permissions are supplied? | Who maintains connectors, credentials and upgrade compatibility? |
| Continuity | How are incidents, restoration and exit handled? | Who exercises recovery and funds replacement capacity? |
When delegated operation fits the brief
A provider-operated scope can suit a team that wants a defined launch or migration project and a clear support boundary. Ask for the exact platform configuration, hosting and integration deliverables, together with any exclusions. The project should identify how the brokerage requests changes and obtains the records needed to investigate an issue.
Use the MT5 White Label deployment page to establish the required account model, instruments, connected systems and handover. Confirm current platform availability and licensing terms for that project; this guide does not promise a particular licence or price.
When direct operational control matters
A brokerage may need its own change governance, component placement or integration lifecycle. In that case, compare an independently operated environment with managed infrastructure services around it. Contracting infrastructure work does not remove the need to understand who owns platform configuration, external connectivity and recovery decisions.
Illustrative planning scenario: a team wants to introduce a new external reporting integration without depending on a provider change queue. It should first demonstrate the required access and upgrade support. More control is valuable only if the integration is permitted, maintainable and supported by an operating team.
Compare the same operating outcome
- Request a written rights, access and exclusions schedule.
- Exercise account creation, reporting, configuration changes and the required integrations.
- Review the proposed topology and the boundaries of recovery.
- Agree an incident investigation and escalation exercise.
- Specify what records, configurations and assistance are available on exit.
Use the MT5 cost factors and project brief to compare implementation and recurring responsibilities. An apparently smaller platform fee can leave substantial work elsewhere in the stack; a larger package can also contain services the brokerage does not need.
