Measure the affected path
Identify where the users connect, which workflow is affected and when the problem occurs. Measure client access separately from platform-to-provider connectivity and administrative access. A good result from a single test location does not describe every user route.
Record the current placement and dependencies before adding another location. A regional access point, a duplicated service and an independent recovery environment solve different problems. Define the intended role so the team does not promise resilience from a change designed only to improve access.
Create a regional decision record
| Requirement | Evidence to collect | Decision |
|---|---|---|
| User access | Representative observations from the target region | Whether routing or an additional access location is justified |
| Connected providers | Current data and execution paths | Which services should remain close to those dependencies |
| Operations | Access, monitoring and support availability | Who operates and investigates the new component |
| Recovery | Expected behaviour when a region is unavailable | What must be restored, redirected or reviewed |
Local service availability, data handling and permission to operate in a market require the responsible business and provider review. A technical location choice does not resolve those questions.
Release a defined regional change
- Select the affected workflow and a measurable acceptance criterion.
- Prepare the approved component and its monitoring without changing unrelated services.
- Run representative regional checks and a controlled interruption exercise.
- Introduce the change with a documented return path and named decision owner.
Compare the result against the original baseline. If access improves but another dependency becomes less predictable, record that trade-off rather than presenting the regional move as an unconditional improvement.
Operate one coherent service
Add the new component to the inventory, change process and escalation map. Support teams should know which region and route a reported incident relates to and who can investigate it. Keep configuration and approved access consistent with the defined operating model.
For MT5 White Label, review component placement and access responsibilities in the platform scope. For an existing MT4 White Label environment, confirm the permitted regional options with the relevant operator rather than copying another platform’s topology.
